M.Tech Thesis
"Modeling
and Simulation of Scooter SuspensionSystem."
The comfort in scooter riding largely
depends on its suspension system.Suspension system of any vehicle has to
meet various requirements for properand smooth functioning of the vehicle.
Most importantly, it attempts toinsulate passenger from vibration due to
road roughness and braking. Thiswork is mainly dynamic comparison of LML
? NV and BAJAJ CLASSIC ? SL scooters.Modeling and dynamic simulation of
the suspension system have been donefor the two scooters while moving over
various road profiles and bumps.Dynamic analysis of scooter is made by
applying the principles of vibrationtheory. However putting this theory
is not so straight forward, since itincludes several issues related to
suspension design. The governing equationsof the dynamic system of scooter
are solved by using MATLAB.
